Dominance was established through strong links within local hospitality venues and councils, Our Community. We believe that Community is at the core of the human experience and is essential in fostering both personal and professional development.

Dominance has proudly supported many charities and community groups, and we encourage our employees to make a positive contribution through their local communities and the environment.

We support a multicultural work environment and employ staff from a wide variety of backgrounds, at last count our multilingual staff spoke more than thirty combined different languages.

Our aim is to foster an inclusive work environment and we welcome individuals with an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background into our family. We additionally hold ties with the Indigenous Community through strong relationships with Ganbina, and support members of The Victorian Aboriginal Chamber of Commerce – Kinaway.

We couldn’t do any of this without the Dominance staff, the people and their families that keep us operating on a day to day basis. We take our commitment to the community seriously and are always open for opportunities to assist Our Community.

Dominance is committed to helping the community in any way possible and is always looking for opportunities to support charities and local sporting clubs.

We have been sponsoring the St Brigid’s St Louis Cricket Club for many years and the Parkdale Vultures.

On a larger scale Dominance are the security provider for the North Melbourne and St Kilda Football Clubs offering reduced rates to support their growth with AFL, AFLW and VFL teams.

Dominance Scholarships

In 2021 Dominance are proud to announce that we will be embarking on a new scholarship initiative to support the training, licensing and any associated fingerprint and record check process for two individuals under our Indigenous Australian Scholarship and Women in Security Scholarship.

Each Scholarship will involve payment for security training qualifications, covering the cost for name checks and fingerprints to be conducted and payment of their security licence. On completion of training and once subsequent security licensing has been obtained, there will be an offer of employment to commence their security working career with Dominance.
